Pupil Asset Payment System
The comprehensive and easy to use online payment system within Pupil Asset allows you to balance your books in real-time, better still, it’s a core part of the Pupil Asset MIS which means no additional fees, no more integrating with third-party software and no more wondering where your data is going – just simple accounting for your school.
Pupil Asset’s cashless system reduces admin, confusion and conflict, offering you comprehensive and configurable financial analysis, an audit trail for transactions and easy to understand school balances; within a secure system that you can trust.
Support your parents
Our simple checkout lets parents understand what they are paying for and pay for it easily, at a time that suits them.
School trips can be paid for in instalment amounts that you set and extra curricular activities can be paid for up front or once the pupil has been marked present on the event register – one of the many benefits of integrating payments into your MIS software.
Pupil Asset offers you the flexibility to support your parents, whatever their needs. Pay for clubs, trips, uniforms and meals conveniently and quickly as everything is in one place.
Effective Parental Communications
Positive parental involvement is a key factor in pupil achievement, progress, attendance and wellbeing. Research shows that regular and effective communication with parents and carers builds confidence in their children’s education and schooling.
Pupil Asset has developed a range of tools, fully included in our school MIS software, that ensures communication is timely and effective, as well as cost-saving.
You should not have to pay for text messages (SMS) as standard. Pupil Asset’s free Parent App and online Parent Portal let you communicate with your community, without spending a penny.
When push notifications are not appropriate, Pupil Asset has an in-built Email and SMS messaging service. Last year we successfully delivered over 5.2 million SMS and emails and to support with budgets, you will receive an annual allowance of SMS, included in your license fee.
Customised Reports
A reporting suite that’s integrated directly into your MIS & Tracking System has many benefits over a separate system. For example, the vast majority of parent and pupil data can be auto-populated, including contextual data as well as results, targets, attendance and progress information.
Teachers can easily access and edit their reports in school, or at home with a full workflow, keeping track of which have been completed, approved and published.
Completed reports can be batch printed, emailed or sent via the Parent App for the whole class, year or school, in one go, dramatically reducing the amount of time you spend on collating and distributing reports.
Choose from our own selection of pre-built school reports, based on best practice within schools and feedback from hundreds of Pupil Asset teachers – alternatively, you can create your own.
Efficient Reporting
Making informed decisions is key to effective leadership, in school, and in the classroom. Pupil Asset reports support learning and management across school. Reports are predefined or easily configured to your requirements. Your data is presented in the most efficient way for teachers, senior leaders, Governors, Local Authorities and external bodies.
Rebuilding reports from scratch, each and every time, or constantly switching between windows is a thing of the past.
Create a report template, once, then use the Filter to populate it with the pupils you want to see. If you’ve built a report to show pupils with less than 95% attendance across the whole school and want to see the same data, but for just those in receipt of Pupil Premium funding, simply use the Filter to repopulate the same report.
You have the flexibility you need – information is quickly available, when you need it, in a consistent and easy to manage way.
Gain a new perspective
Pupil Asset makes it easy for you to take a holistic view of your pupils with our Cohort Report. A fully configurable, single table breakdown of cross-school measures, including attainment, progress, attendance and behaviour.
Once you have identified areas of concern, simply click on the hyper-links to see a full breakdown of the data and the students behind the figures.
Assessment Data to Improve School Effectiveness
High quality assessment data is vital for your teachers to be responsive to the needs of their pupils. Detailed information about what pupils know, and can do, is fundamental to this. At Pupil Asset, we believe in a ‘collect once, use many times’ philosophy which is why our assessment software is fully integrated within our MIS.
Formative assessment to support teaching and learning can be coupled with effective and detailed summative results and compared with pupil contextual information for complete triangulation of data. A full suite of attainment and progress reports allows for in depth cohort analysis so schools can feel confident reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
